Finally....i lun until the price drop to $35 hahahaha...

had been thinking about the animated grimlock for a long time since it was first spotted on ebay and sg yahoo auction. the price was about $80 an dto me its too expensive and premium to pay...coz i will reached the retail sooner or later...true enough, 3 weeks after being spotted online, our retailers brought in loose animated grimmy and selling for $35, completed without instruction. for a while, i nearly buy it not for the fact it was broken at some joins...well since then, i didn't have the urge to buy grimmy...but always think of grimmy whenever i won in mahjong wahahahaha....

today as usual, csc. i was thinking it was high time to buy grimmy because the price had been dropping steadily over the past months. local stalls had been selling it at $45, $40 and departmental stalls having 20%, where the rrp is $49.90. but no grimmy in departmental stalls. So today i hope i can get one at csc for $40. and guess what, first step into csc and saw it for sale at $35!! mai to liao!!! wahahahaha...

i was browsing through the flee today at csc and bump into a stall selling misc stuff...i spotted the pepsi be@rbrick 70% key chain and immediately took a distinct liking to the imperial bear... iThe seller was qouting me $12 each and i was about to bargin when he lower to $9 for me...well not bad right? so i counter and ask for $8..with some difficulites (from his expression) he agreeded. i am a happy man thinking its a good buy:) as i walked about csc, i remember shops are selling $80 for a set of 16, so works out $5 each. so why am i paying $8 for mine?..well i guess its more expensive to buy in singles...so ok for me...

i noticed one other shop selling the same stuff and its $5 per piece!!! i know i had it....what the hell....till this date still can kanna chop by seller for something so common means i need more practice to buy toys!!!! wahahahahahahaha... at the end of the day, still feel good with the imperial buy...xiao hei got a new toy :)

fetched LJ for dinner at imm today and had dinner in ajisen. ramen taste a little salty but is ok :) we went over to Giant and look for lock-and-lock...in the end dceided the butter lock-and-lock :) i told LJ this is my first present for her: "ai xin fan her" :p i just can't think of letting her use those cheap plastic micro wave box to re use...hey im in the plastic industry so i guess im alittle particular on using plastic for food...hhmm...i love plastic!! hehehehe....before checking out, we walk along the shelves and i found out LJ and i like similar snacks (twisty and fish ball) and same taste :) hehehe...also brought a tray of eggs as requested by her family :) hehehehe....on the way home it rained heavily...so its a little troublesome when getting out of the car...but still ok lah...when i sent LJ back, i called mum and dad so let them know im going to fetch them since the rain is still heavy. then i realised a missed call from LJ. called back and was told by LJ to take care on the road because raining very heavily :) :) hehehhe....shiok!!! hhehehe....nice and warm feeling...(^__^)

got a gift from LJ's perth trip - A bag of chocolate. When i first held it back home, i thought it looks like the coffee powder packaging. the the compactness in the packaging had me thinking it was powder form chocolate..i thought LJ brought me those chocolate that need to be mixed it hot water and drink up. had a quick msn with LJ and was told that it can be eaten as it is and should take a little at a time. Brought the chocolate to work today and guess what...its not powder leh...its in cube form and it taste nice... :) yum yum :) hehehe...

pop over to taka during lunch time to clear some of my heavy lunch. While browsing through the racks in the toy section, saw a premium bumblebee at $16.90. took the bb and notice the packaging at the bottom is not mint. kinda deformed but the toy itself is pretty mint. thought for awhile and decided not to buy because its going to be troublesome carrying a toy bag during the SCDF tour (our 3rd safety day) and i can always go hunting for it another day. take a long hard look at bb and decided not to buy it. put it back to the shelf and browse through the rest of the universe toys. in less then a minute, someone came, scope up bb and took a long look and head for the cashier...i feel like banging my head against the wall...why did i leave in on the shelf...

After some worring that my ebay wining will not turn up (1st to know the seller is someone else using another account), l got a parcel from the post office..everything came in good condition, complete, as described by the seller. What l won are as follows:

1. cobra vipers (x10)


2. h.i.s.s. driver (x2)


3. DTC h.i.s.s. tanks (x2)

There were 5 auctions, each auction consist of 5x cobra vipers, 1x h.i.s.s. driver and 1x DTC h.i.s.s tank...l bidded all 5 but manage to win out 2 :( ... but then better then nothing....the total cost for 2 auctions won is SG$154. If i were to break down the cost...say $25 each for the DTC hiss tank, that means each figures cost me SG$8.60 or so....still cheap...if l were to buy carded and tear them up, each will cost me $16-$18...so i'll say its the best buy of the year so far!!! hehehe....bludd is not included...i just bring him to join in the fun! hahahaha....

was at aric's place for dinner and mahjong last week. Aric's mum-in-law came over and organized a mj game cum dinner. dinner went very well and nice and soon after mj start coming in. along the game, aric's m.i.l keep 'za hu' hehehe...i guess she is not used to playing sg style which requires use to have at least 'yi tai' to game. also if one cannot game a 'dan tiao' thrown by anther player unless 'zi muo' (i think i should start writting abbrevation for mj hehehehe), unless the player has a flower or animal...but on a few occasion...aric's m.i.l didn't have flower and animal and game dian tiao from us...of course, we quickly cover her tiles back (^_^) we played the same rules before and there was no such accident..well, as the sayin goes, accident does happen and for us, we find it amusing some time because we simplying need to cover back her tiles hehehe...during one of the game, i was the xi feng xi and had 2 flowers of mine and 1 animals..which means i bao xi. i seriously forget i am xi and when aric's m.i.l threw out the xi, i pong (@_@)..ben ben immediately remind us bao aunty...wow cow...i feel really bad loh...so i started to ask ben ben the common rules on bao...as ben ben was explaining, he threw a card..can't remember which and i huo!! hehehehe....ben ben nearly flip and keep accusing me of diverting his attention wahahahaha.....heheheheh....the next game, ben ben also waiting to game 'wu tai'..something just keep triggering me to ask some common rules again...and suddenly ben ben asked:"who throw tiles and when throw one?"...well i simply have no answer for him...ben ben keep saying i ask questions at the wrong time and keep distracting him heheheheh....;p him missed the wu-tai hehehee...but i gave him back one later... :) tonight played 3 rounds and at the end of the days, aric lost $150...i won from him :( aric so sorry...i promise i'll buy u, nick and baby a meal one of these days (",)

thin thin chicken rice

im thinking of blogging this after finishing with my chicken rice...i know its a little late but l just want to blog it!! :p was looking for a place to have chicken rice and remembered this stall that had customers packing it every time i passes by. pop down and ordered a plate of $3 chicken rice and a cup of barley drink. when the chicken rice came, the serving seems to be hugh and started to regret ordering $3...should had go for the $2...how wrong i am....hehehe...the chicken was soooo thinly sliced which l had never come across in my years for eating chicken rice...a man who just ordered a $2 chicken rice have a far smaller serving then mine...more like a kids meal in mac donald!! i think even grabriel will complaint not enough...it makes me feel like eating rice more then the chicken!!! the best part...the barley was not even home made, its 100% syrup!!...i am not going back to this stall ever again...by the way, they gave each customer a mentos to freshen up!! :( of course i ate it....

Premium Jazz & Barricade

Went out for a walk after dinner, its Xiaver's birthaday and i had just too many food. Took a one stop train to Jurong Point and walk around...my foot just brought me to toy r us. While walking aimlessly, i chance upon a discount basket and saw premium barricade and jazz. i was wondering who would have left those in a discount basket! since the toys were not where they should be, i decided to put them back where that should belong (no way they should be in a discount basket!). Before hanging them back to the shelves, there was a discount for all delux movies transformer, each selling at $16.90! Hmm...plus i got to redeem $10 voucher from uob smart$...well thats not bad for $11.90 a piece...and now, they are no longer on the shelves hehehehehe......

Longest Game in a While...

no IPT today :) and Mak initiated a mj sessons at aunty Sally home. This turn out to be one of the longest game...each player has a fair amount of 'stay' from 2 to 5 times...and for each player who stay, the wining is always significant..even possible to recuperate what loss into wining...and another note worthy...my two times 5 'tiles' gamed on that night was one of the longest i've waited...and my luck was pretty awsome...won $70 and was a happy man until i remember my traffic fine of $70..bloody turn off.....
